Printing Errors in Stickers and Trading Cards: When a Flaw Can Make All the Difference

06/07/2026

In the world of sticker and sports trading card collecting, printing errors are among the most fascinating aspects of the hobby. However, it's important to dispel a common myth: not every rare sticker owes its value to a production mistake. In many cases, rarity is the result of limited print runs, uneven distribution, or specific production circumstances. From Homeless to Millionaire Thanks to a Trading Card: The Incredible Story of Damian Olivera-Bergallo

06/07/2026

The world of sports card collecting is full of remarkable stories, but few are as extraordinary as that of Damian Olivera-Bergallo. After emigrating to the United States and facing extreme financial hardship, he managed to build a fortune through football trading cards—especially those featuring Lionel Messi. While living in his car and working odd jobs as a dishwasher and Uber driver, Damian came across a bag containing a collection of vintage football trading cards. He decided to spend his last €200 to buy it, unaware that the purchase would completely change his life.

INTERVIEW DAVIDE CRANCHI : M.F.A. MAGAZINE

16/04/2026

My name is Davide Cranchi, and throughout my life I have always believed in one very simple principle: that true projects are not created merely to occupy a space, but to leave a mark. Bridges between cultures, between people, between worlds that may appear far apart, yet which, once they find the right language, discover that they are able to move in the same direction. Over the course of my journey, I have brought to life different ventures, all united by the same vision: to create value, create connections, and create the future. On one side

My nickname is @goalgrailgallery on Instagram. I'm an Italian living abroad, deeply passionate about football. I have also published my personal list of the key players of each decade, from the 1950s onward, and I try to collect all these greats. I started collecting many years ago. My love affair with football began in 1994, when I watched my first match ? it was love at first sight. Since then, I have spent 30 years following football: watching, writing about it, and, recently, collecting memorabilia. In the 1990s, I built a solid collection of Panini Calciatori albums with my father; we even ordered some earlier editions together. My collecting journey kicked off around 1994?95, then it restarted a couple of years ago.

INTERVIEW : AL JUGELA

08/04/2025

Al Jugela, South Carolina, USA. I collect more than 500 players whom I believe were among the best of their eras and/or countries from the inception of the game through modern days. I started collecting soccer stickers and cards around 2008 as I have always love the sport (and played it as well). My other collecting interests were nearing and "end" (nearly complete), so it was a natural progression for my collecting.

INTERVIEW : GIANNI BELLINI

01/04/2025
