England : the history
The England national football team represents England in international competitions and is governed by The Football Association (FA), the oldest football association in the world. Widely regarded as the birthplace of modern football, England holds a unique place in sporting history, having played a crucial role in codifying the rules of the game and spreading football across the globe. Its traditional white and dark blue colours, together with the famous Three Lions emblem, symbolize one of the most prestigious and widely supported national teams in world football.
The origins of the national team date back to the second half of the nineteenth century, when football began to develop in its modern form. England played some of the earliest international matches ever contested and was instrumental in the worldwide growth of the sport. For many decades, the English team served as a technical and cultural reference point for emerging football nations.
Throughout the twentieth century, England participated in the world's major international competitions, building a football tradition based on competitiveness, talent, and strong national identity. Despite periods of success and disappointment, England has consistently remained one of the most respected teams in world football thanks to the quality of its players and the strength of its football culture.
The greatest moment in the team's history came in 1966, when England won the FIFA World Cup on home soil. Victory in the final at Wembley remains the country's greatest football achievement and one of the most important sporting moments in British history. That triumph immortalized a generation of players who became legends of the game.
In the decades that followed, England continued to compete at the highest level, reaching semi-finals and finals in both World Cups and European Championships. The rise of the Premier League, now one of the most popular football leagues in the world, further strengthened the international reputation of English football.
Among the most iconic players in England's history are Bobby Charlton, a key figure in the 1966 World Cup victory and one of the country's greatest footballers, Bobby Moore, the captain who lifted the World Cup trophy, Gary Lineker, one of England's most prolific goalscorers, and Wayne Rooney, who held the national scoring record for many years. Other legendary figures include Gordon Banks, Kevin Keegan, Paul Gascoigne, David Beckham, Steven Gerrard, Frank Lampard, Harry Kane, and many other players who defined different eras of English football.
Home matches are primarily played at the iconic Wembley Stadium in London, widely regarded as one of the most famous football venues in the world. Wembley serves as the spiritual home of English football and hosts the national team's most important matches in front of passionate crowds.
England's fiercest rivalry is with Germany, a contest shaped by numerous memorable encounters in major international tournaments. Other significant rivalries include matches against Scotland, Argentina, France, and the other British national teams, all of which generate enormous public and media interest.
In recent years, England has invested heavily in youth development, achieving considerable success at youth level and producing a new generation of internationally recognized players. This progress has helped re-establish the team as a consistent contender in major tournaments.
Thanks to its unique history, its contribution to the creation of modern football, its legendary players, and the passion of millions of supporters, England occupies a central place in the history of world sport and remains one of the most prestigious national teams in international football.

Printing Errors in Stickers and Trading Cards: When a Flaw Can Make All the Difference
In the world of sticker and sports trading card collecting, printing errors are among the most fascinating aspects of the hobby. However, it's important to dispel a common myth: not every rare sticker owes its value to a production mistake. In many cases, rarity is the result of limited print runs, uneven distribution, or specific production circumstances. Over the years, publishers?Panini above all?have had to correct numerous mistakes before or during the distribution of their collections. The most common examples include:
From Homeless to Millionaire Thanks to a Trading Card: The Incredible Story of Damian Olivera-Bergallo
The world of sports card collecting is full of remarkable stories, but few are as extraordinary as that of Damian Olivera-Bergallo. After emigrating to the United States and facing extreme financial hardship, he managed to build a fortune through football trading cards—especially those featuring Lionel Messi. While living in his car and working odd jobs as a dishwasher and Uber driver, Damian came across a bag containing a collection of vintage football trading cards. He decided to spend his last €200 to buy it, unaware that the purchase would completely change his life.
INTERVIEW DAVIDE CRANCHI : M.F.A. MAGAZINE
My name is Davide Cranchi, and throughout my life I have always believed in one very simple principle: that true projects are not created merely to occupy a space, but to leave a mark. I am an Italian entrepreneur living in Taiwan, but before that, I am a person who loves to build bridges where others see only distance. Bridges between cultures, between people, between worlds that may appear far apart, yet which, once they find the right language, discover that they are able to move in the same direction. Over the course of my journey, I have brought to life different ventures, all united by the same vision: to create value, create connections, and create the future. On one side

INTERVIEW - COLLECT IT DUO
Collectibles CardsGuru (Alberto & Arnaldo), Pavia, @collectibles.cardsguru.
NEW INTERVIEW : GOAL GRAIL GALLERY
My nickname is @goalgrailgallery on Instagram. I'm an Italian living abroad, deeply passionate about football. My collecting goal is to act like an archaeologist, unearthing early and rare cards of the greatest football players throughout history. I have also published my personal list of the key players of each decade, from the 1950s onward, and I try to collect all these greats. I started collecting many years ago. My love affair with football began in 1994, when I watched my first match ? it was love at first sight. Since then, I have spent 30 years following football: watching, writing about it, and, recently, collecting memorabilia. In the 1990s, I built a solid collection of Panini Calciatori albums with my father; we even ordered some earlier editions together. My collecting journey kicked off around 1994?95, then it restarted a couple of years ago.

Al Jugela, South Carolina, USA. I collect more than 500 players whom I believe were among the best of their eras and/or countries from the inception of the game through modern days. I started collecting soccer stickers and cards around 2008 as I have always love the sport (and played it as well). My other collecting interests were nearing and "end" (nearly complete), so it was a natural progression for my collecting.
INTERVIEW : GIANNI BELLINI
